For Students
Find people at your university who are a good fit for you.
iNZi connects you with students who share your interests or want to learn your language. You meet on campus or online. Free, no app needed.
You need an invitation from your university: a code, a QR code or your university email address.
How to join
Four steps to your first meeting.
Get a code or QR code
Your International Office shares an invite code or QR poster, for example during orientation week or in a welcome email.
Join
Scan the QR code, or open connect.inzi.global and enter your code when you sign up. If your university uses a verified email domain, your university email address is enough.
Build your profile
Your interests, the languages you speak and want to practise, and your level. It takes a few minutes.
Meet people
You get suggestions that say why you might get on. Meet on campus, or online.
What you get
More than another group chat.
People who fit
Suggestions based on interests and languages, including real language tandems: someone who speaks what you want to learn and wants to learn what you speak.
Meetings, not just chat
Agree a place and a time. iNZi reminds you both so the meeting actually happens.
Only your university
Only students at your university can join. A verified badge shows who really belongs.
Safe and private
You can block and report others. No advertising, no trackers, servers in Germany.
Questions
What students ask us
Does iNZi cost anything?
No. iNZi is free for students. Your university provides it for you.
Do I need an app?
No. iNZi runs in the browser on your phone or laptop, in English and German.
Who can see my profile?
Only students at your own university who are suggested to you as a good match. Students at other universities cannot see you.
Can we meet online?
Yes. Meeting in person on campus is what we like best, but if that does not work, just meet online.
My university is not using iNZi yet. What can I do?
Tell your International Office you would like it. You can also email us which university it is: hi@inzi.global.
